Variety may be viewed as inconsistent, chaotic or tragic. By contrast, harmony may be associated with balance and unity. When these conflicting formalist ideals become part of a singular unit, they create a complimentary experience for the viewer. My aesthetic revolves around the distribution of chaos and clarity; through a visual language, I simultaneously convey madness and harmony.
The guidance of emotional perspective sets the tone for the composition, allowing feelings to be shaped in a tangible arrangement. During the process of extracting what I feel into what I see, multiple representations of perceived realities form a single unit, evolving into a new method of contact with reality through the processes of formal investigation.
Within optical formulas of structure and disarray, the information I communicate is designed to promote wonder and fantasy. The dialect supports methods of investigation and discovery to drive creative thinking, and provide clarity through question. The result paves a road for the viewer to determine their individual perspective, promoting an organic relationship between the work, artist and viewer.
